Over the last two decades, Indian business and finance have considerably changed owning to deregulation, liberalization, privatization and globalization. In wake of these changes and developments, the subject of Advanced Financial Management has assumed all the more importance.

To give insights and to introduce various techniques of taking long-term investment decisions and to familiarize students with various financial tools and techniques certain topics are introduced such as:

Capital budgeting, Working capital and EVA, Capital Structure theories and corporate financial restructuring.

Objective

We have tried to discuss the said topics in a simple language. Review exercises at the end of each chapter and multiple-choice questions along with answers have been given. We hope this would help the students in their preparations for examinations.
