The book Economics-1 is prepared according to the course of Gujarat University Semester – 1. The book deals with all topics included in this syllabus in a comprehensive and exhaustive way.

Components

Economics-1 consists of three sets of a question- Essay type question, short questions and multiple type questions- have been appended at the end of each chapter to enable the students to face ensuing examination with confidence.

The book consists of four parts namely:

• Utility Analysis
• Indifference Curve Analysis
• Price Elasticity Of Demand
• Production Function

Objectives

We have tried to discuss the said topics in a simple language. Review exercises at the end of each chapter and multiple-choice questions along with answers.We hope this would help the students in their preparations for examinations.
